STATEMENT
FROM ACE TRUSTEES
After
17 years of dedicated work in primary schools in rural Uganda
and unsuccessful attempts over the past year to find a successor
to Angela Peake, the trustees of ACE have regretfully made the
decision to conclude our programme of building and environmental
work in schools and in future to focus on our successful sponsorship
scheme for academically able yet economically disadvantaged
pupils in secondary education.
We
cannot begin to express our gratitude to all our wonderful supporters
who, over the past 17 years, have enabled us to raise thousands
of pounds for our many projects. The sustainable legacy we leave
makes the future brighter for generations of children and their
families for years to come.
If
anyone would like to make a final donation to our building and
/ or horticultural work, then we would be very grateful to receive
this and, as always, every penny donated will go directly to
where it needed.
ACE
is actively looking for new sponsors for secondary aged pupils
for the next academic year. This is a 4 year commitment with
an option to extend beyond O' levels as appropriate. Please
contact us for further information.
Thank
you again. October 2018
