Mounts Bay School

During the 2005/2006 school year, the pupils of Mounts Bay School chose ACE for their charitable fundraising. They set themselves the task of raising £4,500 to provide a new classroom at Rukongi school. This amount was the equivalent of £5 for every pupil.

In fact they succeeded in raising £5,500. Construction of the classroom is now completed, and the extra money they raised has been used to provide the classroom furniture. Some of the students will attend the official opening of the classroom in October.

A sponsored run took place. Mounts Bay students, Charlie Armstrong, Max Mitchell and Kane McLlroy ran from the school to St. Ives.
